MERCED COUNTY, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported that a bicyclist was killed on Wednesday night in Merced County after being struck by an automobile. Officers were summoned to the intersection of Henry Miller Avenue and Johnson Road at around 7:20 p.m. for a report of a car accident.
When the police came, they discovered a 19-year-old woman who had been struck by a car and sustained serious injuries. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision, according to officials.
