Visalia, CA – 69-year-old woman killed when SUV slams into semi-truck
Visalia, CA (February 01, 2022) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a 69-year-old woman was killed when the SUV she was driving was struck by another speeding vehicle, then pushed into a semi-truck.
Officers say it happened around 3:30 p.m. on Friday near Highway 216 and El Rio Drive.
Police say a 69-year-old woman driving an SUV was struck by a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old – and her SUV was pushed into the back of a parked semi-truck.
She was pulled from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at a hospital. A 21-year-old man was injured in the incident and is cooperating with the investigation.
