San Francisco, CA – Traffic backup after Bay Bridge car crash that seriously injured one
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif (February 21, 2022) – An evening rollover crash on the Bay Bridge resulted in one person being seriously injured, and major traffic gridlock for those heading into San Francisco.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:20 p.m. along westbound 80, just west of Treasure Island. At least one person was injured in the crash and one vehicle flipped over. CHP issued a ” severe traffic alert ” at 7:45 p.m., telling motorists to avoid the bridge and use alternate routes to reach the San Francisco Peninsula.
