Fresno, CA – CHP Investigating Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident at E. Mt Whitney Ave and Cedar St
Fresno, CA (October 14, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol was called to investigate a fatal accident between a car and a tractor-trailer on Thursday, October 14th in Fresno County.
The crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. between Laton and Riverdale and Laton, at the intersection of Cedar Street and Mount Whitney Avenue.
Sources reported that a tractor-trailer crossing Mount Whitney Avenue and a white Mercedes collided in the intersection.
The car underrode the truck and continued off the roadway. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Speed is believed to be a factor in this accident.
