Bakersfield, CA – Hit & Run Crash Injures 13-Year-Old Boy on Mountain Vista Dr at Earl Warren Jr High School
Bakersfield, CA (October 25, 2021) – Police in Bakersfield are currently searching for a driver who struck and injured a teenage boy on the morning of October 22. The crash happened at approximately 8:15 a.m., reports read.
Officers were called to Mountain Vista Drive at Earl Warren Jr High School Friday morning. Police say they found a 13-year-old boy who was injured after being struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
The suspected vehicle was described as a dark-colored Ford Flex that was possibly being driven by a male at the time of the collision. Authorities in Bakersfield continue to search for the driver at fault.
The victim was transported from the scene to an area medical center where he received treatment for his injuries. At this time, he has not been identified.
