Madera, CA – Fatal Collision on Ave 15 near Rd 29
Madera, CA (July 28, 2021) – A fatal traffic collision happened in Madera on the evening of Monday, July 26. A woman driving a Hyundai Elantra lost her life in a crash with a Chevrolet pickup truck.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. while the 20-year-old woman was headed west on Avenue 15 in the eastbound lane for reasons unknown. She collided with the pickup just east of Road 29.
The driver of the pickup tried to swerve left at the last minute but was unable to avoid the impact. He was majorly injured and airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Hyundai lost her life at the scene. No one involved has been identified at this time. It remains unknown whether negligence played a role in the crash.
