Hanford, CA – Traffic Accident on 6th near Excelsior Ave
Hanford, CA (July 20, 2021) – A fatal vehicle wreck in Hanford took the life of one woman and injured one man on the afternoon of Saturday, July 17. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to reports.
Sources state that the collision occurred in the area of 6th and Excelsior Avenue. Responders arrived in the area shortly after the crash took place in order to assist those involved.
Information from officials states that a 2013 Toyota Camry was traveling on the roadway when a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup ran a stop sign. Consequently, the two collided at the intersection.
A female passenger present in one of the vehicles at the time lost her life in the collision. Her name has not been released at this time.
A man identified as Esteban Barreto, 27, sustained injuries in the accident that were said to be critical in nature. He was transported to San Jose Regional Medical Center for treatment.
