Fresno, CA – Two Adults and One Child Killed in Car Crash on Maple Ave
Fresno, CA (September 11, 2020) – An accident on the southeast side of Fresno claimed the lives of three people on Thursday evening. Just after 8:15 p.m., on September 10, the Fresno Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on Maple Avenue.
Reports provided by authorities show that a BMW sedan was traveling on Maple Avenue when the vehicle collided with a Hyundai sedan head-on near the intersection with Mono Avenue.
The driver of the BMW was killed instantly in the accident. The driver of the Hyundai as well as a child in the vehicle were both fatally injured in the accident. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
One victim, a female passenger inside the Hyundai, was critically injured. The woman was rushed to a hospital in the area for treatment of injuries. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
