Bakersfield, CA – Fatal Head-On Collision on Hwy 43
Bakersfield, CA (August 12, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol was called to investigate a fatal head-on car accident that took place on Highway 43 on the morning of Tuesday, August 10th.
Police reports show that the crash occurred at about 5:05 a.m. on Highway 43 in the area of Interstate 5.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the accident and at least one person was killed during the impact.
Highway 43 was shut down in both directions while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
