Fatal Truck Accidents in California

Auto accidents throughout California claim the lives of more than 3,400 people each year. More than 900 of these accidents involve semi-trucks. These accidents are often preventable, yet more than 80% of accidents occur as a result of another driver’s reckless or negligent actions. The leading causes of crashes in our state include driving while impaired, careless driving, speeding, distracted driving, and disregarding traffic control devices. In many cases, families of those killed are left to deal with overwhelming mental and emotional consequences while trying to pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward.

As if dealing with overwhelming grief was not enough, numerous families are required to put forth tens of thousands of dollars to cover the funeral costs of their loved ones.
