Pedestrian Accidents in California

Pedestrian accidents in the state of California are a leading cause of severe injuries for victims. In fact, thousands of people are left with broken bones, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries that require extensive medical treatment and leave them hospitalized for several days or even weeks. Given the exposed state of people traveling outside of vehicles, they are more likely to suffer catastrophic injuries when involved in crashes with vehicles. Injured pedestrians are often rushed to local hospitalized immediately following crashes and forced to undergo surgery. Many pedestrians require months of therapy for their injuries.

Although we hope that every person injured in an accident will recover, pedestrians are at a heightened risk of suffering injuries that result in permanent disabilities. When victims sustain injuries in pedestrian accidents as a result of negligent motorists, it is crucial that they seek the legal guidance of a qualified pedestrian accident attorney in Los Angeles as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation to help them move forward after being harmed in preventable accidents.
