Los Angeles, CA – The driver of a vehicle runs over a fire hose and injures a Los Angeles firefighter

Torem & Associates

LOS ANGELES, CA – Monday morning while tackling a fire in Tarzana, a fireman was hurt when a car ran over a hose, according to the authorities.

Around 4:50 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene of the fire at Synthetic Grass Depot, which is located at 19337 Ventura Boulevard. There was no threat to any structures because the fire was raging outside.

According to the LAFD, a “civilian car” ran over a four-inch supply line during the fighting and knocked a firefighter to the ground. A non-life-threatening injury was present when the firefighter was taken to the hospital.

“It is sometimes essential (we avoid it whenever possible) to cross roadways with the big diameter supply line due to the location of the nearest fire hydrant to an incident,” the LAFD added. It is important to remember never to cross a fire department hose line.

As personnel were on the scene all morning, the Tampa Avenue exit off the 101 Freeway in the eastbound direction as well as a portion of Ventura Boulevard were closed.

The fire’s origin is being looked into.

Car Accidents in California

Each year, more than 150,000 people are injured in automobile accidents throughout the state of California. Although the majority of auto accidents result in minor injuries to those involved, tens of thousands of people require hospitalization and emergency medical treatment for their injuries. Depending on the type of collision, the chances of serious and life-threatening injuries can be higher.

When vehicles overturn after collisions, it usually indicates that one or both vehicles were traveling at a high rate of speed. High-speed accidents are more likely to leave victims with broken bones, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries, all of which require extensive medical treatment. There are many instances where car accidents are caused by the actions of other motorists. These accidents can include people texting or using cellphones while driving, drunk driving, speeding, ignoring traffic control devices, and engaging in unsafe driving behaviors. When victims are injured in accidents as a result of negligent drivers, they should consult with a car accident attorney in California as soon as possible.
