Fresno, CA – CHP reports two deaths after Fresno County crash with big rig
FRESNO, CA – The California Highway Patrol said that two persons perished in a big truck and automobile collision in Fresno County on Monday morning. According to CHP authorities, the collision happened at Kamm and Jameson Avenues, west of Caruthers, approximately 7:00 a.m.
A large truck was traveling north on Jameson Avenue when it was supposed to stop at a stop sign. According to police, a car traveling east on Kamm Avenue was struck, sending the vehicle 400 feet and killing the driver. Neither of the men in the big rig was using a seatbelt. One driver of the big rig passed away immediately, and another man was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
