Fresno, CA – One person killed in single-vehicle accident in Fresno County
FRESNO, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that took the life of a Tollhouse man on Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Pittman Hill Road around 11:30 a.m. in response to a report that a silver Toyota 4Runner had driven at a high rate of speed and crashed. According to investigators on the scene, the vehicle drifted to the right, overcorrected, and then abruptly veered to the right. Apparently, the vehicle spun clockwise and went up an embankment, through a fence, and then down an embankment, returning to the highway.
The combination of the driver not wearing a seatbelt and the high speed at which he was traveling contributed to the driver’s fatal injuries.
This cash is still under investigation.
