Madera, CA – After crashing in Madera County, a suspected DUI driver was arrested
MADERA, CA – California Highway Patrol officers report that a suspect DUI driver rolled his SUV several times on Highway 99 Tuesday morning. The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 99 in Madera County. According to CHP officers, the driver weaved in and out of traffic at a high speed, lost control, and rolled three times before landing on train tracks.
The driver fled the scene, according to police. Witnesses who followed the driver say officers were able to arrest him.
According to CHP, the driver suffered minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
