San Jose, CA – Woman on motorcycle dies in San Jose; 15th fatality this year
SAN JOSE, CA (February 13, 2022) – An 18-year-old woman riding a motorcycle died early Tuesday morning, making her the 15th fatality in San Jose in 2022.
She was riding south on San Tomas Expressway as she approached the intersection with Payne Avenue about 1:15 a.m., according to Sgt. Christian Camarillo.
The driver left the road and hit the curb, striking the center median of westbound Payne Avenue.
She was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital, police said
