Tractor-Trailer Accidents in California
Every year, tractor-trailer accidents cause injuries to around 3,000 people in the Southern California area. While most trucking accidents are avoidable, they persist in having a significantly negative impact on other drivers sharing the road.
Commercial trucks are much larger and heavier than other vehicles, which raises the odds of them causing severe injuries to victims unlucky enough to be involved in an accident. In many cases, victims endure traumatic injuries that demand hospitalization, physical rehabilitation and psychological therapy, and various medical treatments both immediately and long-term.
The emotional and physical repercussions of trucking accidents are almost always overwhelming. Additionally, victims are commonly forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on medical bills, go without earning a paycheck because they are physically unable to return to work, and are forced to deal with various other financial burdens from their accidents.
