Auberry, CA – A Woman Driver Airlifted to Hospital Following Vehicle Collision
AUBERRY, Calif (December 7, 2021) – A woman driver was airlifted to a hospital following a vehicle collision in Auberry, California.
The crash occurred when the driver attempted to pass two vehicles and collided with another car. According to CHP officials, the accident took place when a driver in a Honda was attempting to pass two vehicles. While passing the second vehicle the Honda attempted to get out of the way of an oncoming vehicle in order to avoid colliding with it head-on. This caused the Honda to crash into a Toyota in the southbound lane.
The driver of a Toyota, 41-year old female was seriously injured and had to be airlifted. The two child passengers in the Toyota were also transported with minor injuries.
There were no injuries to the driver of the Honda.
