Fresno, CA – Car Accident Kills 1, Injures 3 on Hwy 145 between North & Jensen Avenues
Fresno, CA (December 5, 2021) – A deadly accident happened in Fresno on the morning of December 3. Three people were also injured in the crash. The incident was reported to officials at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Highway 145 between Jensen and North Avenues.
Police say a semi-truck was pulling out of a driveway onto the highway while a minivan was traveling south on the highway. The minivan was unable to stop and collided into the side of the semi.
The driver of the van lost their life at the scene of the wreck. Three other passengers were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol stated that their injuries varied from moderate to severe. The driver of the minivan may have been traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash, and visibility was between 50 to 100 feet due to fog.
The incident remains under police investigation at this time.
