Motorcycle Fatalities in Bakersfield
Motorcycle accidents cut short the lives of over 500 people every year. An additional 14,000 riders are left to deal with overwhelming pain and suffering from crash-related injuries.
In a collision, motorcycle riders are fully exposed, which greatly increases their odds of sustaining broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and crippling spinal cord injuries that will require lengthy and expensive medical treatments. To make things worse, injured riders are often physically unable to work for months or even years as they recover.
If you are injured in a motorcycle accident, you will inevitably be approached by insurance adjusters who seem to be on your side but are trying to get you to agree to a lowball settlement. Accepting a settlement from an insurance carrier is most likely not in your best interest.
Typically, insurance companies offer the minimum amount of financial compensation to collision victims as a way to get them to sign over their legal rights to pursue additional damages.
