Tulare County, CA – Four Injured in Head-On Crash on Rd 120 near Ave 448
Tulare County, Ca (August 24, 2021) – Four people were hurt in a head-on collision in Tulare County on the morning of Tuesday, August 24. Police state that the wreck occurred just after 5:00 a.m.
Sources indicate that the crash happened on Road 120 near Avenue 448 for reasons still under police investigation. It occurred southeast of Orange Cove near the Fresno and Tulare county line.
Information from officials states that a Honda Civic and a Honda Pilot were involved in a head-on wreck. Afterward, a Good Samaritan pulled over in their SUV in order to assist those involved.
A Dodge pickup rear-ended the SUV shortly after it pulled over. Four people were injured in the first accident, two of which were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment.
The extent of the injuries that resulted from the collision have not been reported at this time. The second crash did not result in any injuries, reports show.
Authorities had to shut down the roadway while responders were on-site. Delays in traffic were observed in the area for an extended period of time.
