Escalon, CA – Fatal Two-Car Crash on Lone Tree Rd near Brennan Rd Takes Life of Jose Serrano
Escalon, CA (July 17, 2021) – On Wednesday, July 14, a two-car crash took the life of Jose Serrano, 43, of Escalon. The wreck happened on Lone Tree Road just west of Brennan Road.
The fatal collision took place just before 7:00 p.m., according to initial reports. Serrano was headed east on Lone Tree Road in a Kubota off-road when an F-150 was headed west on the same road. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles were involved in a collision that resulted in the death of Jose Serrano.
The force of the collision caused the Kubota to propel west and smash into a power pole on the north shoulder of the roadway. Officials stated that Serrano suffered major injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The Ford driver sustained major injuries in the crash. Their name has not been released.
Nothing further has been reported at this time. Authorities in Escalon continue to investigate.
