Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Flower St
Bakersfield, CA (January 29, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on Thursday evening in the Bakersfield area left one person injured. At around 6:30 p.m., on January 28, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Flower Street.
Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was walking in the 1700 block of Flower Street, near the Kern Medical Center. An unidentified vehicle came down the road and struck the pedestrian.
The California Highway Patrol and paramedics were both requested to provide assistance at the scene. EMS went to work immediately with rendering aid to the victim. The injured patient was then rushed to an area hospital for further assistance. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
