Stockton, CA – CHP Officer Injured in crash on CA-99
Stockton, CA (November 11, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Stockton area left one person injured on Monday afternoon. At approximately 12:15 p.m., on November 9, the California Highway Patrol responded to the site of an officer-involved collision.
Reports show that a gray Honda Civic and a silver Toyota Highlander collided on California State Highway 99 just south of the intersection with Arch Road. The impact of the crash caused the Highlander to crash into a guardrail and strike a California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer. The Highlander then overturned and came to rest upside down.
The driver of the Highlander sustained minor injuries. The CHP officer was injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
