Fresno, CA – Joshua Ghizouna Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Road 200
Fresno, CA (November 1, 2020) – An auto accident reported in the Fresno area claimed one man’s life early Sunday morning. Just before 1 a.m., on November 1, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident on Road 200.
Reports show that 28-year-old Joshua Ghizouna was involved in a vehicle collision on Road 200 near Bonnie B Road in the North Fork area. After the incident, Ghizouna pulled his vehicle off to the side of the road.
As Ghizouna exited his vehicle, he was struck by a car. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was killed instantly. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 38-year-old Jered Kesler, was arrested and charged with felony DUI manslaughter.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
