Fresno, CA – Crash on S Jameson Ave Results in Fatal injuries
Fresno, CA (September 1, 2020) – A collision reported in Fresno County claimed the lives of two victims on Monday morning. At approximately 6:30 a.m., on August 31, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on South Jameson Avenue.
Reports provided by authorities show that a pickup truck was traveling north on Kamm Avenue when it collided with a semi-truck at the intersection with Jameson Avenue. The semi-truck subsequently dragged the pickup truck approximately 100-feet down the road, causing the truck to burst into flames.
The driver and passenger inside the pickup truck were both fatally injured in the accident. Emergency crews declared both victims deceased at the scene. No one inside the semi-truck was injured in the collision. At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
