Sun Valley, CA – Truck Accident on I-5 Results in Injuries
Sun Valley, CA (August 3, 2020) – On Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 5. On August 3, just after 8:30 a.m., a U Haul truck was traveling on Interstate 5 when it lost a suspended rack from its room near Sunland Boulevard.
After falling in the road, three vehicles including a black sedan, a Kia Optima, and a third vehicle, crashed into the U Haul. The Optima sustained extensive damages in the collision. Medical personnel was called to the site of the crash to provide medical treatment to those in need. At least one person was transported from the scene of the crash for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
