Pedestrian Accident Lawyers in Fresno
Approximately 15% of reported pedestrian accidents in the United States occur in California. Each year, roughly 6,000 pedestrians are killed in traffic accidents. Despite the fact that California lawmakers work diligently in order to keep pedestrians safe, they continue to become the victims of negligent driving.
Oftentimes, pedestrians are injured by reckless, impaired, and distracted drivers. It is important to be vigilant in our ability to keep others safe on the road by always being mindful of other drivers and pedestrians. However, there is no guarantee that other motorists will always do the same.
Catastrophic injuries can result from any vehicle collision. Pedestrians involved in accidents are at a heightened risk of suffering injuries given the fact that they are totally unprotected while walking or riding their bikes. Contact a California pedestrian crash attorney if you have recently been injured or lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident in California.
