Petaluma, CA – Pedestrian hurt in Highway 101 big-rig collision
PETALUMA, CA – One person was seriously injured in a big-rig collision on Highway 101 in Petaluma on Tuesday afternoon. A semi-truck struck a man sitting on the side of the off-ramp for Washington Street around 12:20 p.m. on July 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim was rushed to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital shortly after emergency responders arrived at the scene. According to doctors, the pedestrian’s injuries are not life-threatening.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
