Modesto, CA – A Three-Car Crash Outside of Riverbank on Tuesday Morning Killed 68 Year-Old Woman
MODESTO, Calif (December 15, 2021) – A three-vehicle crash outside of Riverbank on Tuesday morning killed one driver and seriously injured another, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident also injured three children. The crash happened at 9:43 a.m. on Highway 108/Patterson Road and Skittone Road. The driver was alone in a white Ford SUV/
A woman and three children were riding in a green Chevrolet SUV when the accident occurred. Doctors Medical Center treated her for major internal injuries. The children were also taken to the hospital, as a precaution. They were found to be unhurt.
A male was driving a Honda sedan west on Patterson Road when he stopped to turn left onto Skittone. As the Ford SUV approached from behind, it veered left to avoid hitting the Honda. CHP says the Honda was traveling at an unsafe speed when the crash occurred. The SUV rolled over at striking the woman’s vehicle.
