Bakersfield, CA – 13-Year-Old Boy Injured in Hit & Run Wreck on Mountain Vista Dr near Anacostia Way
Bakersfield, CA (October 30, 2021) – On Friday morning, October 29, a 13-year-old boy sustained injuries when he was hit by a vehicle on a roadway in Bakersfield. Officials were called to the scene of the wreck at approximately 8:15 a.m.
The incident occurred on Mountain Vista Drive near Earl Warren Junior High School in the vicinity of Anacostia Way. Investigators said the vehicle that struck the boy was a dark-colored Ford Flex that was being driven by a male.
The boy was moderately injured in the collision and is expected to make a full recovery. His name has not been reported at this time.
