Galt, CA – Four Hospitalized After Five-Car Pile-Up on Hwy 99 near Twin Cities Rd
Galt, CA (September 30, 2021) – On Tuesday, September 28th, a five-vehicle pile-up accident on Highway 99 near Galt put four people in the hospital.
The collision took place at about 6:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 at the intersection for Twin Cities Road.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined but the Cosumnes River Fire Department stated that a total of five vehicles were involved. Four people from those vehicles were taken by ambulance to local hospitals for medical treatment. Their current conditions are unknown.
Northbound Highway 99 was closed for about an hour to allow for police investigation and road clean-up.
