Fresno, CA – Two Killed in Head-On Crash on West California Ave near S Howard Ave
Fresno, CA (July 25, 2021) – Two people lost their lives on the evening of Saturday, July 24 in a head-on crash in Fresno, according to information provided by officials. The wreck happened just after 8:00 p.m.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, located at the intersection of West California Avenue and South Howard Avenue. A man in his 30s was headed west on California Avenue, just east of Howard Avenue. He veered into the earthbound lane and collided with another vehicle head-on being driven by a man in his 50s.
The man in his 30s and a 25-year-old woman who was in the vehicle with him at the time were pronounced deceased at the scene. The man in his 50s and his 35-year-old female passenger were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for the care of moderate injuries.
No one involved has been identified at this time as police continue to investigate. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
