Bakersfield, CA – Bryan Weldon Dies in Fatal Collision on University Ave near Columbus St
Bakersfield, CA (June 27, 2021) – One person lost their life in an auto accident in Bakersfield on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 22. The crash was reported to have taken place on University Avenue at approximately 4:22 p.m.
According to reports, the wreck occurred near Columbus Street on University Avenue. The circumstances of the collision have not been reported. However, when officers arrived at the crash scene, they found one man, identified as 58-year-old Bryan Weldon, suffering from injuries.
Weldon was transported to an area hospital where he later lost his life due to his injuries. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
