Modesto, CA – Woman Loses Life in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on McHenry Ave near Standiford Ave
Modesto, CA (June 16, 2021) – One woman is dead after she suffered fatal injuries when she was struck by a vehicle on Monday, June 14 in Modesto. The wreck was reported in the early morning hours, at around 3:00 a.m.
A pedestrian was struck by a Cadillac that was headed north on McHenry Avenue in the vicinity of Standiford Avenue. Police stated that the driver stayed on-site and cooperated with the investigation.
The woman was rushed to an area medical center shortly after she was hit by the vehicle. Authorities stated that she succumbed to her injuries within 24 hours. Her name and age have not been released at this time.
