Bakersfield, CA – Angelena Huffman Killed in Car Accident on I-5 at Taft Hwy
Bakersfield, CA (April 16, 2021) – An Oroville resident who died in a car crash on Monday morning, April 12, has now been identified.
Authorities say that 51-year-old Angelena Marie Huffman was a passenger in an SUV that crashed and overturned on Interstate 5. Huffman was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
According to deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. south of the Taft Highway. The events leading up to the accident are still unclear, and police did not say if any other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The investigation is ongoing.
