Bakersfield, CA – Teen Killed in Train Accident at Santa Fe Way & Renfro Rd
Bakersfield, CA (April 14, 2021) – Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department say that a 17-year-old was killed after being struck by a train on Sunday evening, April 11.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic page, the incident occurred shortly before 6:40 p.m. near Santa Fe Way and Renfro Road. BNSF Railway investigators are handling the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call BNSF Railway.
Investigations into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
