Bakersfield, CA – Richard Dorsey III Killed in Car Crash on E Bowman Rd
Bakersfield, CA (October 21, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Sunday evening claimed one man’s life in Kern County. At approximately 8:20 p.m., on October 18, the California Highway Patrol responded to the site of a crash on East Bowman Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a crash involving an off-road vehicle and a second vehicle took place on East Bowman Road near Lumill Road for unknown reasons. The crash caused major delays throughout the area after officers responded to the scene and secured the area with firefighters. Medical personnel entered the scene and attempted to render aid to victims.
The driver of the off-road vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Richard Dorsey III, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Details surrounding any other injuries are limited at this time.
