Fresno, CA – Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on CA-41 near CA-180
Fresno, CA (October 20, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Sunday morning claimed one man’s life in the Fresno area. At approximately 1:30 a.m., on October 18, the California Highway Patrol was requested at the site of a crash on California State Highway 41.
Reports show that a man in his 40s was walking near the California State Highway 41 connector ramp for eastbound California State Highway 180. For unknown reasons, the man was struck by a passing Suzuki Vitara. The man sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
Authorities arrived at the site of the incident and pronounced the man deceased. The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries in the accident. They were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation by troopers with the California Highway Patrol.
