Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Car Crash on Union Ave (CA-204)
Bakersfield, CA (September 8, 2020) – A collision reported in the Bakersfield area claimed the life of one pedestrian on Monday. Just before 7:45 p.m., on September 7, the Bakersfield Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on Union Avenue.
Reports provided by authorities show that a female was driving a car south on Union Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle near the intersection with East 5th Avenue.
The vehicle crashed into a pedestrian before colliding into a nearby building. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
