Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in California
Auto accidents throughout California claim the lives of more than 3,400 people each year. More than 500 of those fatally injured are not traveling inside vehicles at all. Instead, they are innocent pedestrians traveling to their destinations on foot. Regardless of the number of laws enacted throughout Los Angeles County and the state of California to protect pedestrians, we continue to witness the consequences pedestrians and their families are forced to endure as a result of negligent and reckless drivers.
As if dealing with overwhelming grief was not enough, numerous families are required to put forth tens of thousands of dollars to cover the funeral costs of their loved ones. When victims are killed in accidents resulting from the negligence of others, it is crucial that their families reach out to a wrongful death attorney in California as soon as possible. Although we understand that no amount of compensation could ever take away a family’s pain and suffering, compensation can help grieving families cover to costs of burial and funeral expenses and alleviate the impact of lost wages moving forward.
