April Is National Car Care Month
Summer is almost here and most of us will be heading out for summer vacations and trips with our families. Because summer is the biggest travel season, the Car Care Council wants to remind everyone of the importance of car maintenance. A car that is well-maintained is less likely to break down. Car maintenance can also help avoid car accidents due to mechanical failure.
Car Maintenance and Service Guidelines
The Car Care Council has developed a general timeline for car maintenance and service. Even though the following guideline applies to most vehicles and most situations, drivers should always consult the vehicle owner’s manual for specific recommendations regarding car care, maintenance and service.
Check Immediately
Any systems or equipment indicated by dashboard warning lights. If you have a warning light, do not ignore it. Immediately have this checked by a qualified technician. If you ignore the warning light, you may end up with a more expensive repair.

Every Six Months

What Should I Do If I Am Injured In A Car Accident?
Car crashes occur every day. If you are in a car accident, you need to seek immediate medical care. If you do not require emergency medical assistance, you still should see your doctor as soon as possible. You may have injuries that are not easily diagnosed without seeing your doctor. Your health is your top priority.
When someone causes a motor vehicle accident, that person is liable for any damages and injuries caused by the accident. In most cases, the driver’s insurance company pays for the accident victim’s damages. Unfortunately, insurance companies are in business to make a profit; therefore, they try to pay the least amount possible to settle an accident claim. It is in your best interest to consult with a Fresno car accident attorney to ensure you are receiving a just and fair settlement. It is free so you have nothing to lose by getting legal advice before you settle a car accident claim.
